The Inbetweeners will return for a third series - but makers forgot to tell the stars of the show. The hit E4 sitcom about four misfit teenagers has been recommissioned - but James Buckley (Jay) only heard when a fan sent a message to congratulate him on Twitter. James wrote: "Where has Inbetweeners 3 been announced? Genuinely haven't been told, sending a few text messages to see if there really is a third series." He later added: "Green light on series three, just didn't get round to telling us boys! Gonna have celebratory Coco Pops." The show - which also stars Simon Bird, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison - will return next year. E4 chief Angela Jain said the show had "some of the most beautifully-crafted puerile and funny jokes ever seen on British television". The second series recieved a Bafta nomination and two British Comedy Awards.
