Is the X Factor dream over for 'devastated' Cher?
Cher Lloyd is devastated that her X Factor dream may be over after finding herself in the bottom two last week. Despite being one of the early favourites of this year's X Factor show, Cher Lloyd now worries that she can never win due to the 'bottom two jinx'. Cher was said to be devastated when her name was called to perform in the sing-off against Paije Richardson last week, only narrowly staying in the competiton thanks to a lifeline from Louis Walsh. A source told the Daily Mirror: "Cher knows no-one has ever won after being in the bottom two. "She told her family it felt like her dream was over." However, former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke said she doesn't believe in the 'bottom two jinx' despite never being in it herself. She said: "I know there is a rule that says if you are in the bottom two you don't stand a chance to win. But I don't think that is correct because JLS were in the bottom two and made it to the finals." Meanwhile, Cher is also said to be having issues with fellow X Factor finalist Rebecca Ferguson. According to the MailOnline, a show insider said Cher is becoming frustrated by everyone saying how genuine Rebecca is. While a source told Heat magazine: "People are loving Rebecca. They can see how nice and natural she is. Cher can't stand it. "Last week, Cheryl told Cher that she needed to make her peace with Rebecca. Cher admitted to Rebecca that she can be moody and it's just her personality." However the source added: "She accepted Cher's apology but she's not happy. "Rebecca has admitted she still can't stand Cher and thinks she's a brat who behaves worse than her kids." Louis Walsh has also waded in on the subject saying: "I've heard rumblings of what is going on in the house - there's lots of parties... But Cher is definitely the out of control one. "She causes a lot of the trouble. She's as miserable and moody as she looks."
