EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa and Corrie's Helen Flanagan are to battle it out for the title of Sexiest Female at the Inside Soap Awards.
Eight soap stars are about to battle it out to scoop the Sexiest Female gong at the Inside Soap Awards.
Jacqueline Jossa, Helen Flanagan, Shona McGarty, Cath Tyldesley, Fiona Wade, Natalie J Robb, Jennifer Metcalfe and Rachel Adedeji have all been nominated for the award, according to the Mirror.
The stars will be fighting for the award at a glamorous ceremony in November.
EastEnders actor Jacqueline Jossa will be hoping to keep the title for the second year running after being crowned winner last year.
Jacqueline, who plays Lauren Branning, described her shock after being nominated again.
“It’s funny as we are filming some really intense and emotional scenes at the moment, so not for one moment did I think I would be on this list again,” she told the Daily Star on Sunday.
"There are so many beautiful women in all the soaps that it is an honour to be in their company,” she added.
Jacqueline will be up against fellow Albert Square resident Shona McGarty, who plays Whitney Dean.
Corrie stars hoping to win include Helen Flanagan and Catherine Tyldesley, who play Rosie Webster and Eva Price.
Emmerdale stars Fiona Wade and Natalie J Robb (Priya Sharma and Moira Barton) are also on the list.
Hollyoaks stars Jennifer Metcalfe (aka Mercedes McQueen) and Rachel Adedeji (Lisa Loveday) are also in the running.
"The Inside Soap Awards is a glamorous night, so it always seems appropriate to celebrate soap’s most stunning stars,” says Inside Soap editor Steven Murphy.
"Viewers really enjoy backing their soap crush or naming the women whose beauty and style they admire.”
