Jade Richards and Janet Devlin have emerged as the early favourites to win The The X Factor 2011, according to the bookies. Coral have given odds of 5-1 on 21-year-old Jade taking top honours after her audition, in which she reduced the judges to tears with her performance, was shown on Saturday. However 16-year-old Janet Devlin, who wowed the panel on the first show of the series, is currenly the 7-2 favourite. Others tipped to do well include boy band The Keys with odds of 10-1, teenage singer Misha Bryan who is 14-1 and likeable Liverpudlian Craig Colton at 16-1. The bookmakers also said that Gary Barlow was 2-1 favourite to be this year's winning mentor. Meanwhile the papers have reported that Jade - who was told by Gary Barlow that her audition would "change her life" - split from her previous singing partner in order to try and win the show. According to the Mirror she had been performing with Keir Smith for 18 months as the duo Jade and Keir but left the partnership in search of stardom. "Keir has helped her to get confidence," a show source said. "Now he'll be lucky if he performs with her again."
