Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s estranged husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini has broken his silence about his soon-to-be ex-wife.
The 35-year-old posted some thoughts on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of an arch of roses.
“Since months, papers, ‘sources’, lawyers, PR management team and others have been trying to intimating (sic) me,” wrote Jean-Bernard.
“I have heard so many lies about me,” he stated before adding that the 'lies' extended to his family and his situation.

“I never seen anybody standing up and defend me. I guess because it wasn’t in their interest. And now suddenly when the truth always come out, certain people that love to say that they don’t comment on their private life can’t help themselves, but to justify themselves which for me seems even more strange.”
Cheryl, 32, and One Direction star Liam Payne, 23, have been in a relationship since December. She began divorce proceedings against Jean-Bernard in the same month citing 'unreasonable behaviour'.
The couple started dating in January 2014, after meeting in France. After a whirlwind romance, they married on the Caribbean island of Mustique in July.
Meanwhile, Cheryl – who has reportedly moved in with Liam – has posted a sizzling black and white snap of herself to Instagram.
On the subject of her living arrangements, a 'friend' of the couple told The Sun: “Cheryl and Liam are getting more serious by the day.
“They want to make the most of their time with each other before Cheryl has to go back to the UK, so it made sense for her to come and live with him.”
“They are so happy together and head over heels. It is definitely the real deal. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if Cheryl had her first child with Liam.”
Cheryl and Liam are yet to comment on the rumours, but Cheryl has made several big changes in her life recently, including sensationally quitting The X Factor.
She said she was focusing on making new music instead and a new album is expected later this year.
