Jonathan Ross has been bragging about how much he loves being suspended from work. The shamed TV and radio host has written on social blogging website Twitter what fun he is having, reports the Daily Mirror. Ross wrote: "Smoking a cigar and watching Sex And The City season six. Suspension is fun. Wondering what record I should play on first radio show. Maybe - You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone." He was banned from appearing on the BBC until January after the lewd phone message he and Russell Brand made to 78-year-old actor Andrew Sachs. Jonathan describes himself on the website as 'Bio Ageing roue. Former chess champ. Currently resting'. He also blogs that he has been suffering from flu, watching TV in bed with his wife and eating three lunches on one day. A source said: "He is not moping around and has been going to the gym a lot and spending quality time with his family. "He knows he has to serve his time, but you can see from his blog that he is excited about going back to work." Ross was suspended for three months in October over the Andrew Sachs phone scandal. This week he met BBC executives and was reminded of the recommendations of the BBC Trust regarding his future conduct. The governors asked for bosses to ensure no gratuitous material is broadcast on his TV and radio shows. Get exclusive access to your favourite stars. Subscribe to TV Times magazine
