Karren Brady 'not surprised' women top work survey
Junior Apprentice star Karren Brady says she's not surprised research has found that working women are winning the battle of the boardroom. A study of 4,000 workers - carried out by DYMO labelling products - found that women are the most organised, are more likely to meet their deadlines and turn up for work. In contrast, men seem to be struggling to keep on top of things, lose documents on their messy desks and forget to call people back. She said: "I'm not surprised that current research shows that women are far more organised. We tend to have to be because normally we're trying to juggle family life and business life, so we have to be organised. "It is difficult juggling family and a career and I love the title 'working mum'. It suits be down to the ground because I work and I'm a mum and those are the two most important things in my life." And talking about the differences between boys and girls on Junior Apprentice, Karren said: "The girls tend to think far more independently of one another, whereas the boys have that herd mentality where they just follow each other. "But the teams are at their best when they're mixed up." CLICK below to watch an interview with Karren Brady
