Kate Moss is set to appear in a new reality TV show, helping out hairdresser friend James Brown. The celebrity crimper will front E4's Great British Hairdresser, searching the country for budding new hairdressers, and his star pals are expected to appear on the show, including supermodel Kate, Gwyneth Paltrow, Liv Tyler and Atomic Kitten Jenny Frost. James (pictured with Kate) said: "I always wanted to be a hairdresser. From a young age I was motivated by the challenge of creating a new hairstyle, and making someone look and feel fabulous. "I love the discipline of working in the salon, out on shoots and shows, and also with celebrities and supermodels. There is a lot of skill and technique required with hair cutting and this is something I will be looking out for especially. "Here in the UK we have a great history of producing talented fashion designers, photographers and stylists, and I am looking forward to creating that same focus and success with our hairdressing talent." The nationwide search begins in August with auditions in Manchester on Sunday, August 8 and London on Sunday August 15. To apply, email hairdresser@splashmediatv.co.uk. The chosen final 10 contestants will then live and work together in a spectacular London pad as they compete in a series of high-profile hair assignments designed to test their skills under James's ever watchful eye. Each week one stylist will get the chop until James is left with his Great British Hairdresser who wins the opportunity to style an A-list celebrity for the cover of a top monthly glossy magazine as well as an offer of working with James in his London salon. *The 10-part show will air on E4 in early 2011.
