Katie Price has worst-selling celebrity scent
Katie Price has been given more bad news - her perfume has been revealed by a beauty website to be the worst-selling celebrity scent. Over the last 12 months, Katie has claimed just 0.37 per cent of all celebrity perfume sales on feelunique.com, putting her behind Mariah Carey, whose perfume accounted for 0.43 per cent. She and husband Peter Andre announced last week that they are splitting after three-and-a-half years of marriage. But another troubled star, Britney Spears, saw a surge in popularity with her range of scents accounting for 34 per cent of celebrity perfume sales. The second most popular celebrity range on the website belongs to Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker, whose scents accounted for 16 per cent of sales. The range of perfumes promoted by Jade Goody, who died of cervical cancer earlier this year, snared 14 per cent of sales. Siobhan McDermott, beauty manager at feelunique.com, commented: "There are 17 celebrity perfumes available on feelunique.com and it's interesting to see Britney is currently enjoying the sweet smell of success whereas Katie Price is struggling to kick up a stink."
