Katie Price in 'showdown talks' with husband Kieran Hayler
Katie Price has reportedly staged 'showdown talks' with husband Kieran Hayler after accusing him of being unfaithful and announcing they were getting a divorce.
In a series of Twitter messages on Wednesday, the glamour model claimed her marriage was over and accused third husband Kieran of cheating on her with her best friend Jane Pountney.
Jane and her husband Derrick, as well as Katie and Kieran, met up at Jane's house after she tweeted the messages.
The Sun reported that tyre business owner Derrick, 51, called the drama a 'storm in a teacup'.
"There has not been a 'full blown' affair going on, it was more like a drunken kiss," he is reported as saying.
"There were tears shed here today, all sorts went on. But Katie and Jane talked, they have been friends a long time and they are OK now.
"A lot of this drama has been a storm in a teacup and there are a lot of misunderstandings to sort out."

He said he didn't know whether Katie and Kieran would get back together or he and his wife would 'work things out'.
But he added: "This 'affair' has not really happened like it has been portrayed. I've known about it for about four weeks myself. All four of us are good friends, but things between Kieran and Jane just went a bit far."
Katie met Kieran, former air hostess Jane and Derrick, at the Pountneys' home near Horsham, West Sussex.
Kieran stayed for an hour and Katie, who has cancelled an appearance on Loose Women, for another two after he left, the newspaper said.
Katie tweeted that she was divorcing Kieran a little over 16 months since they married and just days after announcing that she was pregnant with her fifth child.
She told her fans: "Sorry to say me and Kieran are divorcing. No human being deserves this especially being 6 months pregnant. Worse pain in the world."
A statement posted on her website later said: "I am appalled that someone I loved, trusted and believed in has behaved in this way. If he had so little respect for our relationship I would have hoped he would have thought about our child, or the one that we have on the way.
"That he did not means he will no longer be part of my life. I will do all I can to ensure he maintains a relationship with his children should he want that. I am so grateful for the love of my children and family at this time."
Katie was previously married to Peter Andre and the Celebrity Big Brother contestant and cage-fighter Alex Reid, and Alex told Mail Online: "I am here for her if she needs me. I want to let bygones be bygones despite what has happened between us."
She and Kieran had their first child together, Jett, in August last year. She also has two children, Junior and Princess, from her four-year marriage to Andre and a son, Harvey, from her brief relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke.
Katie had just told how she learned she was expecting on returning from a holiday in Cape Verde.
