It's almost time for the final series of Game of Thrones.
With the end of the mega Game of Thrones franchise just a stones throw away, eight consecutive years of filming is finally drawing to a close for the epic cast.
And, as the HBO team begin filming the very final series, Kit Harington has shared his thoughts on the end of an era- revealing he had a very surprising reaction to the final scenes of the script.
Kit, who plays Jon Snow, had appeared on BBC's One Show on Friday- and had shared some insight in to the preparations for the finale of GoT.
Speaking on the show, the actor reveals that the cast had only just finished reading the final scripts on location in Ireland just last week.
Kit shares: 'We had the read-through last week in fact, so I know everything now'.
The actor then added, 'I cried at the end. You have to remember that eight years of it no one really cares about it more than us'.

Speaking of the preparations for filming their final series, Kit then added that he is expecting an emotional process: 'I get a bit weepy thinking about it. It’s going to be a strange year saying goodbye to everyone and having last scenes with this person and that person'.
It's going to be a very big year for Kit, with the final series of GoT, his new drama Gunpowder and his preparations for his upcoming marriage to co-star Rose Leslie.
Kit had announced his engagement to his GoT co-star via a traditional notice in The Times newspaper, marking a very lovely end to their time filming together.
The notice reads: 'The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcestershire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire'.
A massive congratulations to Kit and Rose, we can't wait to have you back on our screens for the final time!
