Last night's EastEnders saw Honey Mitchell betrayed by Adam Bateman...

EastEnders fans have been left heartbroken for Honey Mitchell after she came shockingly close to catching her boyfriend Adam Bateman in bed with Habiba Ahmed.

Soap fans have watched in horror over the last few weeks as Habiba and Adam's affair has become more serious.

But the pair are getting careless at keeping their fling under wraps, and a few weeks ago Billy Mitchell rumbled them when he saw them kissing after his birthday bash at the Queen Vic.

But Habiba and Adam are oblivious to the fact someone knows their dirty secret, and have continued to sneak around right under Honey's nose.

But last night saw Billy struggling to find the right moment to tell Honey the truth about Adam, but of course Honey put his claims that Adam was cheating down to Billy's jealously and they ended up fighting.

As Honey, Will and Janet prepare to move in with Adam, Billy wanted to make sure his ex knew what she was getting herself in too. But of course with Billy's cheating past coming back to haunt him, Honey didn't believe a word he had to say.

Unsuspecting Honey went over to see Adam, but little did she know he was inside the flat with Habiba and up to no good.

Poor Honey almost caught the pair together, and as she chatted with Adam, she was oblivious to the fact Habiba was lurking in the bedroom wearing nothing but Adam's shirt, and fans weren't happy...

While Adam might have got away with his cheating this time, this is a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode. How long will it take for Honey to realise that Billy was right about the cheating dentist all along?

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
