Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and ex Bond girl to be in same BBC1 show!
Lauren and Jayne Seymour to show off their art skills!
In one of TV’s more unlikely pairings, Changing Rooms legend Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and former Bond girl Jayne Seymour are going to take part in the same BBC1 show!
Yep, Laurence and Jayne are among the six famous faces who’ll be putting their artistic skills to test in the new series of BBC1’s Celebrity Painting Challenge.
Laurence found fame on DIY show Changing Rooms, which was first presented by Carol Smillie and later by Laurence himself. While Hollywood star Jayne starred in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and, perhaps most famously, as Roger Moore’s love interest Solitaire in Live and Let Die (1973).
Fronted by Mariella Frostrup, the improbable duo will take on musician and presenter George Shelley, cricketer Phil Tufnell, model and DJ Amber Le Bon and presenter Josie D’Arby for the Celebrity Painting title.
With filming taking place soon, the six stars will compete in a range of tasks, masterclasses and challenges designed to test their painting talent.
They will be painting everything from traditional landscapes to self-portraits and even a spot of still life.

Watching their every brush stroke will be returning discerning judges, Daphne Todd, OBE, former winner of the BP Portrait award, and acclaimed figurative painter Lachlan Goudie.
At the end of the series, a selection of work from the six budding artists will be auctioned off, with the proceeds going to charity.
Mark Bell, Head of Arts Commissioning, BBC, says: “Our multi-talented contestants have achieved renown in their different fields, but what is less well known is their love of art. This series will put them through their paces as painters, and test whether they can achieve the levels of excellence on canvas that they have achieved on the stage, catwalk, screen and cricket pitch.”
Celebrity Painting Challenge, featuring Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, is due to air in Spring 2019.
