Leon Jackson: 'I've cried watching X Factor'
Leon Jackson has admitted he's shed a tear while watching the new series of The X Factor, describing it the experience as 'very surreal'. The Scottish singer - who won the TV talent show last year - says he's been glued to his television watching the new crop of wannabes. He said: "It's amazing for me to watch this year, you know. As soon as the advert came on, 'X Factor 2008', you know, I was like, yeah I can't wait. "I'm just filled with so much excitement and nostalgia and, you know, I've been crying at the guys already, you know, because it's just such amazing entertainment and it's very surreal for me." Leon also admitted he was impressed with Peter Kay's spoof single The Winner's Song, which beat his own track Don't Call This Love to number two after a chart battle. Leon's song charted at number three. "I mean it's clever what [Kay's] done and he's done it in good jest, it's quite jovial and funny," Leon said. "But I'm glad my music is out there and that's all I am concentrating on at the moment."
