Leona Lewis is set to make her film debut in a musical, Holiday!
The former X Factor winner has an undisclosed role in the British movie, which is directed by the StreetDance filmmakers Max Giwa and Dania Pasquini, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The 28-year-old singer has already posted some pictures from the beach set on Twitter.
She also wrote: "Feeling very lucky to be part of a project in which every1 is so passionate & supportive of one another. I'm loving the experience :)"
She added: "Just wrapped for the day! So excited for you guys to see this, such great moments being captured. Lucky to work with amazingly talented ppl."
Greg Wise, comedian Katy Brand and fresh faces Annabel Scholey, Hannah Arterton and Giulio Berruti also star in the film, which was originally named Walking On Sunshine.
The plot is expected to tell the story of a holiday romance love triangle, an upcoming wedding and old flames.
Holiday! is shooting in Italy and the UK and features a soundtrack of hits from the British charts from the 80s, including Human League's Don't You Want Me, Madonna's Holiday, Cyndi Lauper's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Wham!'s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.
Holiday! will be released by Vertigo Films next summer in the UK.
