Lily Allen denies X Factor judge rumours
Lily Allen has taken to Twitter to deny rumours that she will be joining The X Factor judging panel next year.
The singer - who is currently top of the charts with John Lewis theme Somewhere Only We Know - had been tipped in recent days to be taking her place in the line-up when the series returns in 2014.
However she has now refuted the claims, saying on her Twitter page: "Why is everyone talking about me being on X Factor next year?"
And just to thoroughly confirm the news, the singer added: 'No way Jose!'
Lily has previously been linked with X Factor, with rumours in 2011 suggesting she was '80 per cent confirmed' for the panel - which she also denied.
She has been openly critical of the show in recent weeks, particularly of the 'chairs' twist at boot camp which saw some already through to judges' houses sent home at the eleventh hour.
"When did it become alright to f*** with peoples minds. X factor has got fully mean," the mother-of-two complained.

She also previously branded the show "everything that I detest about modern Western culture."
The X Factor panel is due for a shake-up in 2014 following the news that both Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh are quitting the show.
Simon Cowell is rumoured to be returning, while Cheryl Cole is also reported to be in talks to make a comeback.
