Sky Atlantic will be screening the second series of HBO’s reality TV comedy The Comeback, starring Lisa Kudrow.
The series, described by both TIME and Entertainment Weekly as one of the top 10 television shows of the last decade, will launch on Sky Atlantic in early 2015 for six episodes.
Lisa Kudrow plays B-list celebrity Valerie Cherish, a fading reality TV star desperate to remain in the public eye 10 years after she was an on-screen ‘It Girl’.
The new series picks up Valerie's life 10 years on, as she causes new problems for herself attempting to get back into the spotlight, believing she has what it takes this time around.
On returning to the role, the ex-Friends star said: “It was almost too fun playing Valerie Cherish the first time round. I look forward to revisiting this resilient and ironically self-unaware character.”
Kudrow recently admitted she would only want to reunite with her Friends co-stars if it was for a whole series, not just a one-off.
Viewers will be able to catch up on the first series of The Comeback, which first screened in 2005, On Demand ahead of series two.
