Little Mix bookies' favourites for X Factor win
The X Factor finalists Little Mix are favourites to triumph over Marcus Collins in Sunday's X Factor final - with bookies shortening their odds even further after Saturday night's show. As of Sunday morning William Hill were offering odds of 2/5 on the quartet becoming the first group ever to win the series - while Liverpudlian Marcus was the outsider at 15-8. "Little Mix now have the best chance ever of banishing the curse of the bands as they are odds on to win the show," said bookies' spokesman Joe Crilly. However the eventual winner is no longer favourite to land the coveted Christmas number one with their debut single. That honour belongs to Gareth Malone's Military Wives choir, who are 8-15 to top the charts over the festive season with their single Wherever You Are - with the X Factor winners' single just behind in the betting at 7-4. Saturday night's show saw Amelia Lily finish third in the competition after receiving the lowest number of public votes. The winner of this year's series will be crowned on Sunday night's final, which begins on ITV1 at 7.30pm.
