Lorraine Kelly has become the latest presenter to desert troubled ITV breakfast show Daybreak - but she will remain a major part of the network after signing a new three-year deal.
According to The Sun the 54-year-old - who will celebrate 30 years with ITV in 2015 - will leave Daybreak later this year as she begins to host her own show Lorraine five days a week.
Currently she fronts the morning programme from Monday to Thursday, with Kate Garraway taking over on Fridays.
Lorraine's new contract will see her remain with ITV until at least 2017.
“I’m delighted to have signed up for another three years at ITV," Lorraine said. "I thought long and hard about staying on at both shows but have decided I really want to focus on my show.
“New-look Fridays will be filled with fashion, film news and lots of fun — I can’t wait.”
Lorraine's replacement on Daybreak will reportedly be announced next week.
The presenter first made her mark on morning TV as part of TV-am's summer team in 1989.
She then joined Good Morning Britain in 1990 before moving on to GMTV in 1994, which she fronted for 16 years.
Lorraine joined Daybreak in 2012 along with Aled Jones, as replacements for previous hosts Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley.
