Louis Theroux tries to tempt Heather Mills
Louis Theroux apparently wants to feature Heather Mills in his next TV documentary. The broadcaster says he has written to the former model twice suggesting the idea. The 37-year-old is keen to get her opinions on her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney, her charity work and her outburst on GMTV last year, when she compared herself with Kate McCann and Princess Diana, reports The Sun. He said: "She'd be fascinating. She needs to show her side of the story which, for one reason or another, isn't coming through. I haven't heard back so far." In his show When Louis Met... between 2000 and 2002, he followed a number of stars in going about their day-to-day business, interviewing them about their lives and experiences as he did so. Celebs who featured included Sir Jimmy Savile, Neil and Christine Hamilton and Max Clifford. More recently, viewers saw him receive liposuction in Louis Theroux: Under The Knife. On Sunday, his hard-hitting programme about death row pirsoners in the US, Behind Bars, was watched by 5.3 million viewers, a massive figure for a BBC2 show.
