Louis Walsh tips James Arthur for X Factor win
Louis Walsh has tipped James Arthur to be crowned winner of the X Factor 2012 final on Sunday night - despite having previously been a very vocal supporter of rival Jahmene Douglas. The Irish mogul had earlier said he was backing the 21-year-old supermarket worker to take top honours this weekend - but speaking on The XTra Factor after Saturday's show he appeared to have changed his mind. "I have always backed Jahmene, I have loved Jahmene since day one but I think James is slightly in the lead now," Louis said. However he admitted that it was likely to be a close race. "I think it's going to be really tough, really close tomorrow," he said on the show. "I think it's going to go right to the wire. They are both amazing singers, they are very very different." And paying tribute to fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger - who is looking after both acts - he added: "They have both been mentored incredibly well by Miss America here. She has done an amazing job." Sunday night's show will see both Jahmene and James perform what will be their debut single if they win. Although details of the tracks have been kept a secret it is rumoured that Jahmene's song will be a cover of the Beatles' Let It Be while James will take on the Shontelle hit Impossible - a track previously eyed for Leona Lewis and Cher Lloyd as their possible debut. The two-hour results show kicks off on Sunday evening at 7.40pm
