If you love Spider-Man prepare yourself for a whole channel dedicated just to this one marvel character
Always looking for somewhere to watch non-stop Spider-Man? Do your kids love it? Good news – this Marvel character just got his own channel. But for one month only.
What channel is Spider-Man taking over?
Disney Channel UK and Ireland announced that Sky and Virgin Disney XD + 1 channels will be taken over from 3 July and for the whole month. They will be filled with Spider-Man content 24 hours a day.
Not only will the takeover include the world premiere of six different short films, every episode of Ultimate Spider-Man ever made will be shown.
If you are looking for something a little different to your usual Netflix series to binge-watch, this could be the answer. Even if the Disney Channel isn't where you would usually find yourself tuning in, Marvel comics fans will enjoy the takeover. Spider-Man is the No.1 action show for ratings on Disney XD.
You can tune in on Sky channel 608 or Virgin 708. A special Spider-Man Homecoming 15-minute movie will also be premiered on the channel.
David Levine, General Manager of Disney Channels UK and Ireland, said: "This is the first time that we have created a takeover dedicated to Spider-Man, arguably one of the most popular characters from the Marvel universe and one of Stan Lee’s most venerated creations."
He added: "The wall-crawler continues to draw kids to Disney XD so what better way to pay tribute to his genius than by giving him his own channel throughout the month of July when the whole world will be going Spidey crazy."
