The actress joins Strictly judge Shirley Ballas and Judge Rinder
Michelle Keegan has signed up for the 15th series of Who Do You Think You Are? The former Corrie actress will star in the first episode of the new series as she delves into her ancestry.
During the episode Michelle discovers a shock connection to Suffragettes leader Emmeline Pankhurst!
Other celebs finding out the secrets of their history include Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas, Judge Rinder and Broadchurch star Olivia Coleman.
Announcing the 15th series, the BBC said: ‘From adultery to asylums, illicit drinking dens to revolutions, our celebrities travel round the world, from Gibraltar to Genoa, India, Jamaica, South Africa and Latvia, as they solve the mysteries in their family trees.
‘Series 15 reveals shocking discoveries, laughter and tears along the way.’
And BBC Commissioning editor Fatima Salaria said: ‘The enduring appeal of Who Do You Think You Are? is set to continue as BBC One broadcasts a huge host of names in series 15 including Olivia Coleman, Boy George, Marvin Humes and Judge Rinder, which are guaranteed to move and entertain audiences.’
