My Family star cautioned after drugs bust
My Family actor Gabriel Thomson has been cautioned by police for possession of a class A drug. The 21-year-old star of the BBC One comedy was arrested on Sunday by officers attending reports of a disturbance at a house in Battersea, south London. It's believed that cannabis and cocaine were found at the address. Reports suggested police were initially called by a woman staying at the house who complained that money had gone missing from her handbag. A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: "A 21-year-old man was arrested just after 3.30pm yesterday afternoon after reports of a disturbance in Kingsley Road, Battersea. "[He] was arrested over suspicion of possession of class A drugs. He was taken to a south London police station where he received a caution under advice from the Crown Prosecution Service for possession of a class A drug." Thomson plays geeky son Michael Harper in the long-running BBC sitcom starring Robert Lindsay and Zoe Wanamaker. He started his career in acting at the age of four, appearing in a breakfast cereal commercial.
