Is the secret that Elly is pregnant with someone else's baby about to be revealed in Neighbours?
Today's Neighbours will see Elly confess to Shaun Watkins that she is pregnant with his baby... but will he be able to keep such a huge secret to himself?
The realisation that Elly is pregnant with Finn Kelly's brother's baby hit her hard yesterday (Thursday 18th April) and, of course, the drama isn't anywhere near over yet.
Today's trip to Ramsay Street sees Elly's web of lies become more tangled than ever when she comes face-to-face with Shaun after she ran out of Finn's court case, and he confronts her about their night together.
But as the pair talk in the middle of Lassiters, Mark sees them together and jumps to the conclusion that Shaun is trying to make Elly change her witness statement against Finn and orders him to leave.
But as Mark is standing up for his wife, he unwittingly lets slip that Elly is 9 weeks pregnant, leaving Shaun stunned that she must have been pregnant when they spent the night together.
Shaun confronts Elly and she struggles to cover her tracks, and eventually confesses that he is the father of her baby, leaving him stunned.
But as he struggles to process the news that he is going to be a dad, Elly begs Shaun not to tell anyone and let her bring up the baby with Mark as the father.
While Elly has got it all mapped out, Shaun isn't sure if that's what he wants and tells Elly he needs time to think about what she's asking of him.
Could he turn around to Elly and tell her he wants to be a part of his baby's life?
And where would that leave Mark and Elly? Surely this is a secret that is set to explore before too long?
