Neve Campbell has revealed she called her son Caspian because she wanted him to have a "unique" name. The Canadian actress, who welcomed the baby in August, opened up during an appearance on The Talk, saying that her own unusual moniker was her mother's maiden name. "I like having a unique name - it's [my mom's] maiden name, Neve - and not a lot of people have it," she explained. "It's nice having something special and different and so I wanted something like that for our son." The 39-year-old Scream star said she and partner JJ Field had narrowed down name options to five contenders, but the final decision was an easy one. "We decided that we'd wait and see and meet him and then decide," she said. "And ... when he was born we realised we could only remember one and that was Caspian, so it seemed like it was right."
