Reality stars Charlotte Crosby, Joey Essex, Stephanie Pratt are among the celebrities who will date members of the public in E4's new show Celebs Go Dating

E4’s got a new dating show, Celebs Go Dating, which does exactly what it says on the tin. Six celebrities will be matched with ordinary people in their quest to find love.

The unlucky-in- love celebrities to appear on the show include Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby, TOWIE’s Joey Essex, Made in Chelsea’s Stephanie Pratt, Cuckoo star Tyger Drew-Honey, YouTube's Jack Jones, and Tattoo Fixers' Paisley.

The duo taking responsibility for matching the celebs to their prospective soulmates are dating agency owner Eden Blackman and matchmaker Nadia Essex. The cameras will capture the dates in full – the cringey moments, the awkward bits, the goodnight kisses and analyse it all to death.

Channel 4’s head of formats Dom Bird said: "If there's one thing we can't bear to see at E4, it's a celebrity who’s unlucky in love. That's why we've created our own celebrity dating agency, whose sole aim is to find true romance for famous singletons. Celebs Go Dating will find real people and match them up with famous faces, all in the name of love."

The best bit is, it could be you doing the dating; there is still time to apply to take part before the show begins – just email dating@limepictures.com.

E4's head of entertainment Phil Harris added: "We are thrilled to be working with Channel 4 for E4's biggest entertainment series of the season. Giving unprecedented access into our celebrities' lives, viewers can watch their dating ups and downs every weeknight... and if they're feeling brave, they can even date the celebs themselves."

Celebs Go Dating will be on E4, Monday to Friday for three weeks later this summer.
