Olly Murs would do The Voice if Simon okayed move

Olly Murs says he'd jump at the chance to be a coach on The Voice, but that he doesn't want Simon Cowell as 'his enemy'.

The former X Factor runner-up admitted he is 'honoured' to be among the stars that have been rumoured to join the panel on the rival BBC show, following the exits of judges Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue.

But he said his ties with Simon Cowell's ITV show could jeopardise any possibility of landing the BBC One job.

"I was quite honoured [to read the stories] to be honest. It's a big job," Olly told Capital FM. "Would I say no? I don't know. I haven't been offered anything."

He added: "To be honest, I don't think it will be my decision. I think it will be more down to Simon and the X Factor's decision if they let me do it," he continued.

"I don't think I want Simon Cowell as an enemy - so it don't think that's probably going to happen."

Robbie Williams, Cheryl Cole and Adele are also strong favourites according to bookies to join the show.

Olly, 29, who is preparing to join Robbie on his Take The Crown stadium tour in Milan, added: "If there was an offer on the table, you'd definitely consider it."
