Peaches Geldof to be fashion reporter for GMTV
Peaches Geldof will be reporting from New York fashion week for GMTV. The socialite and occasional presenter will have behind-the-scenes access to the star-studded event, which is held between September 10 and 17. Peaches said: "Fashion is the thing that establishes creative talent and a person's aesthetic individuality, but most of all it's a fun way to express yourself." She continued: "I love attending the shows - I am excited to be covering NYC FW for GMTV. "NYC is the perfect backdrop for some of the most exciting new designers and old classics in the fashion world." Peaches also writes a fashion column for Nylon magazine, and even walked down the runway herself at London fashion week in 2007, modelling for PPQ. However Peaches was in groupie mode this weekend as she went to both Reading and Leeds festivals. She made her way up to Leeds on New York band The Virgins' tour bus on Saturday, and complained about the smell. "Headed to Leeds festival on the Virgins' smelly tourbus," she whinged on Twitter. Peaches was also unimpressed by Kings Of Leon's performance at Leeds - tweeting 'Caleb's whole 'we love England' between song banter was a bit forced' - however she declared Black Lips 'the best show of the festival'.
