'Push the button' for best Brit
The five songs which will compete in the Brit Awards' first ever live vote have been unveiled. The British Single Award will be decided by the press of a button - as viewers text in for their favourites during ITV1's live broadcast of the show on Valentine's Day. Take That, who enjoyed a massive comeback last year, are among the list of nominees, and they'll face competition from Snow Patrol, Razorlight, The Feeling and Will Young. Taking place at London's Earls Court, the 26th Brit Awards will be hosted by comedian Russell Brand and broadcast between 8pm and 10pm on Valentine's Day. Oasis will perform at the glitzy event along with Amy Winehouse, Corrine Bailey Rae, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snow Patrol, The Killers, Scissor Sisters and Take That.
