Rachel Stevens mugged in her home
Rachel Stevens was robbed of jewellery by three muggers who followed her home, it's been reported. The three men ambushed the former S Club 7 singer as she entered her flat in north London, making her hand over several items, with the haul reportedly including an engagement ring, a necklace and a Rolex watch. A spokesman for Rachel, 31, who came second in last year's Strictly Come Dancing TV show, described the experience as 'distressing'. She is engaged to actor Alex Bourne, with their wedding planned for this summer. According to The Sun, police are probing whether the gang had been following Rachel's movements during a shopping trip. She was attacked at around 4pm. Scotland Yard said: "It's believed the woman returned to her flat and was followed in to the premises by three males. "The suspects are understood to have threatened her before making off with a quantity of jewellery." One of the robbers was white and the two others were black, police said. The attack is being investigated by Camden Robbery Squad.
