The dances and songs for Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing have been revealed and Ed Balls will be tango-ing to the Rolling Stones’ (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction

Ed Balls will be showing off his moves to the Rolling Stones’ (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction on the next instalment of Strictly Come Dancing.

The former shadow chancellor – who lit up the dance floor with his chirpy Gangnam Style a couple of weeks ago – will be tango-ing to the '60s hit with his professional partner Katya Jones.

And he’ll be hoping to satisfy both the judges and the public, to stay in with a shot at the coveted glitterball trophy.

Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse will bedancing to Magalenha by Sergio Mendes, in what should be a sizzling samba, and Judge Rinder and Oksana Platero will be giving the rumba a spin to Lean On Me by Bill Withers.

Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton are set to demonstrate their skills with a waltz to At This Moment, by Canadian pop star Michael Bublé.

And Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton will be dancing the paso doble to Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Lorde.

Meanwhile, gymnast Claudia Fragapane and AJ Pritchard have promised they will be back on Strictly with a bang as they prepare a performance packed with 'insane lifts'.

The pair will be back on the show this weekend after narrowly surviving the dreaded dance-off on Sunday, winning the judges over with their jive to Hey Mickey and beating Greg Rutherford.

Although she said it 'broke her heart' to see a fellow athlete be eliminated from the competition, 19-year-old Claudia told BBC spin-off programme It Takes Two: “I am literally in my element and I don’t really want to come home, because I am loving every minute on here.”

But she revealed she was still feeling a little frustrated with mistakes she made in her dance.

Referring especially to a particular hand move, she said: “Beforehand I nailed it every single time, but for some reason I totally blanked it.”

But her partner said Claudia had performed like a 'true professional', adding: “No one at home even noticed, probably.”

On Saturday’s show the pair will perform an Argentine Tango to Justin Timberlake’s Cry Me A River.

AJ teased fans: “The lifts are insane.”
