Robert is rattled to discover Lawrence has discharged himself from hospital and takes matters into his own hands
Scheming Robert is happy to have his feet back under the table of Home Farm but just as he's tucking into one of Lawrence's finest bottles of brandy, he panics when he hears Rebecca return and is later seething to discover Lawrence has discharged himself from hospital.
Fearing all his plans are about to be thwarted he decides to take action and secretly drugs Lawrence by spiking his drink with one of the sleeping pills he's been prescribed for his insomnia.
However when a woozy and confused Lawrence gets behind the wheel of his car there are terrible consequences....

Earlier on Robert is rattled when Rebecca, who's pregnant with his child, suddenly shows up at Home Farm.
Even worse, Robert discovers that Lawrence has discharged himself from hospital and is also due to return any minute. Fearing his plans are about to be thwarted, Robert decides to drug Lawrence by slipping a sleeping pill into the brandy that his former father-in-law is about to drink.
Meanwhile the Zombie Run event that has been planned in the woods of Home Farm gets underway. Belle, Victoria and Lachlan gather for the fun!
Victoria is doing the catering for the special event but there's suddenly panic when Lawrence's vehicle comes crashing through the woods.
Having been drugged by Robert, Lawrence has awoken and is confused by the noise and hubub coming from outside. He sets off in his car to investigate.
However, woozy and confused, he's in no fit state to be behind the wheel of his car and is suddenly veering out of control and comes hurtling towards Victoria, Lachlan and Belle!
As he looses control of the vehicle, there's carnage! Who has Lawrence hit and are they going to be ok? Watch Emmerdale on ITV from Monday 7 August.
