Comedian Ronnie Corbett and TV presenter Lorraine Kelly are among those who have been recognised by the Queen in the New Year's honours list. Corbett, 81 - who is best known for his partnership with the late Ronnie Barker on comedy hit The Two Ronnies - received a CBE for services to entertainment and charity. The comedian's wife Anne Hart said the family were "delighted" to have received the news. Meanwhile Lorraine Kelly - who currently presents the morning show Lorraine - has been made an OBE for her services to charity and the armed forces. The 52-year-old said she was "thrilled and deeply honoured" to have received the accolade. "I consider myself very lucky to be able to help some amazing charities who really make a difference, but I am only a very, very small part of what they achieve," she added. Other small screen figures who were recognised include TV executive Peter Bazalgette, who has been given a knighthood. The 58-year-old was the person responsible for bringing Big Brother to UK screens, and has also been the driving force behins such hit shows as Deal or No Deal, Ready Steady Cook and Ground Force. "To receive a knighthood is a delightful compliment and I'm acknowledging it as recognition for television's thriving independent production sector in general," he said. And veteran presenter Stuart Hall - best known for the game show It's A Knockout as well as fronting news and sports show - has been made an OBE. "I am very proud that I have made a contribution," he said. "It's been acknowledged and lots of people around the world will be very pleased as my family is and I am too - very very pleased indeed." Actress Helena Bonham-Carter and broadcaster Clive James were also among those on the honours list, both being awarded CBEs.
