Sian Gibson reveals HUGELY EXCITING Peter Kay news!
Sian and Peter are celebrating winning two TV Times awards
Sian Gibson has revealed that she’s writing again with her Car Share pal Peter Kay!
While there won’t be any more episodes of Car Share, the hit comedy they wrote and starred in together, Sian has told TV Times that they’re putting pen to paper again.
However, fans might have a little while to wait before they get another comedy starring the pair to watch as they keep getting distracted by daytime TV!
“Peter and I are writing together right now,” Sian revealed. “But we seem to always end up watching Judge Rinder!”
The news that Sian and Peter are working together again is tremendously exciting for Car Share fans.
Meanwhile, Sian said she was thrilled to win two TV Times awards – Favourite Comedy for Car Share and Favourite TV Event of the Year for the comedy’s final ever episode.

“I’m over the moon, especially when you consider how much amazing TV there has been on in the past 12 months. Peter and I are so grateful to everyone who voted. It’s a real honour and privilege.”
The last ever episode of Car Share drew massive audience figures earlier this year, with over six million fans tuning into the final outing for John Redmond (Peter) and Kayleigh Kitson (Sian Gibson).
