Sinemia rolls out its unlimited movie plan, offering 30 tickets a month for $30

You may have heard of Sinemia before. Once stuck in the shadow of the ubiquitous MoviePass, Sinemia is a similar movie ticketing service which offers the ability to see a number of movies per month at any theater for a monthly fee.
MoviePass took the nation by storm with its $10 monthly fee allowing members to see an unlimited number of movies each month, though sadly, the business model was unsustainable, leading to the plan being canceled indefinitely about a month ago. The service still offers a plan where members can watch three movies a month for $10, though it's a far cry from what was originally offered.
Here's where Sinemia comes in. Instead of just one plan, or an unlimited plan, Sinemia offers five different plans ranging from one ticket per month to 30 tickets per month. You're able to pay at a yearly or monthly rate and plans start at just $4.99 for the one ticket option. While the new unlimited option may seem stellar offering you a movie ticket every single day at only $30 monthly, we all know it's impossible for most people to get to the theater that often. That's where the more affordable plans come into play.
AMC also has a similar service which allows access to three showings at any AMC theater each week for just $20 monthly . That may be perfect for you if you have an AMC close by, and it gives you the ability to see the films in IMAX or 3D at no additional upcharge. However, the downside is that you'd be stuck as an AMC customer. That's not a bad thing at all — until all the showings are sold out on the night you'd like to go to the theater.
With Sinemia , there's no up-charge for premium formats like IMAX or 3D and you can visit more than just one theater. There are even family plans you can look into. Sinemia members also gain access to exclusive offers. Using the Sinemia app, you'll be able to show your ticket to the ticket taker, look up future showtimes, and schedule your next night out.
