Stuck for something to watch this weekend? Sit back and enjoy an entire series of streaming favourites Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix), Mr Robot (Amazon Video) and Thirteen (BBC iPlayer)

If you think telly is a bit lacking over the summer, have a peek at the best of the box sets available on streaming services like Netflix...

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix) Co-created by America’s comedy sweetheart Tina Fey (Saturday Night Live/30 Rock/Sisters), this chirpy sitcom follows the titular Kimmy as she adjusts to life in New York City after her rescue from a doomsday cult.

Binge on both series one and two on Netflix and be tickled by the comedic exploits of Kimmy (Ellie Kemper), landlady Lillian (Carol Kane), flamboyant flatmate and aspiring musical star Titus (Tituss Burgess), and highly-strung socialite Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski).

There are chucklesome cameos aplenty from the likes of Jon Hamm as cult leader Reverend Richard, Martin Short as puffy-faced Dr Franff, Amy Sedaris as Jacqueline’s eager acquaintance Mimi Kanasis, and Tina Fey as hapless lawyer Marcia and alcoholic psychiatrist Andrea.

Breakout character Titus’ self-penned track ‘Peeno Noir’ is an unshakeable series one standout.

Tina Fey, Tituss Burgess and Ellie Kemper attends the premiere of Netflix's "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" Season 2 at the SVA Theatre on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in New York.

Mr Robot (Amazon Prime Video) Catch the entire first series of the award-winning drama-thriller now, before the second series starts on Amazon Video on Thursday, July 14.

The acclaimed series sees socially-awkward computer engineer Elliot (Rami Malek) recruited by a mysterious figure called Mr Robot (Hollywood star Christian Slater) to join an underground group of computer hackers. The hactivists are aiming to wipe out global debt by bringing down one of the world’s largest companies, E Corp.

As Elliot gets drawn more deeply into the dark world of Mr Robot, infiltrating data storage facility Steel Mountain and putting those closest to him in danger, he's forced to ask the same question as viewers of the series: who can be trusted?

Thirteen (BBC iPlayer) Available as a full-series 'box set' on BBC iPlayer, this gripping five-part drama opens with 26-year-old Ivy Moxam escaping from the cellar where she's been held captive for 13 years.

First shown on BBC3 online, then BBC2, earlier this year, the series follows Ivy (played by Doctor Foster and My Fad Fat Diary star Jodie Comer) as she attempts to rebuild the relationships that were torn apart when she was kidnapped as a teenager, as well as charting the police investigation into her ordeal and the hunt for her abductor.

But is all as it seems? With each episode comes a new piece of the puzzle and a fresh shock!
