Strictly Come Dancing 2013: Abbey Clancy wins!

Abbey Clancy has been crowned winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2013, following the first ever all-female final in series history.

The model and WAG soared to victory ahead of series favourite Susanna Reid and Coronation Street actor Natalie Gumede in a closely fought two-part show on Saturday night.

And she snatched the Glitterball trophy from under the noses of her rivals after wowing the judges with a trio of routines - including a fiery showdance with partner Aljaz Skorjanec.

Earlier in the show Sophie Ellis-Bextor finished in fourth place, although the order in which Natalie and Susanna finished was not revealed.

Abbey, meanwhile, appeared speechless when she learned of her victory, saying: "I just can't believe this, it's just mad."

She added that the trophy would probably go in her daughter Sophia's bedroom, telling Bruce Forsyth: "She's going to be so happy."

Aljaz - who was a newcomer to the show this series - was emotional as he told Abbey: "You've been incredible...absolutely incredible."

Saturday night's Strictly saw each of the four finalists perform a previous routine chosen for them by the judges as well as their showdance.

Following Sophie's elimination the three remaining contestants each reprised their favourite dance from the series.

Abbey wowed the judges in the first half of the show with a reprisal of her waltz from the very first programme, followed by a feisty paso doble-style dance to Guns n'Roses' Sweet Child o'Mine.

"It held a lot of drama and you created some magnificent shapes throughout," Craig Revel Horwood told her, while Len Goodman added: "As a performance it was fantastic."

However the biggest praise was reserved for her waltz, with Len saying: "That dance should be designated an area of natural beauty."

Meanwhile Craig told the pair: "I said in week one that I had a hunch about you two and I was absolutely right."
