Strictly Come Dancing’s Peter Andre has had some extra moral support at this week’s rehearsals.
His wife, doctor Emily MacDonagh, joined him at training this week to offer a few extra words of support.
She said: “I always had faith because I’ve seen him on tour, he’s a real performer. Even with that he’s taken me by surprise. He’s done so well and I’m so proud.”

Talking about watching him rehearse, she said: “Based on what I have seen today I would give him a 10 but obviously I’m his number one fan.”
He said the support from his family was “going to be a buzz”.
This week Peter and his partner Janette Manrara will dance the tango to New Order’s Blue Monday.
He said: “The paso was my favourite but I love the sharpness of the tango.”
Dancing partner Janette revealed: “Peter gets very nervous so knowing that Emily and all his family are supportive will make him perform even better.”

This week, apart from rehearsing for Strictly, Andre announced a major UK arena and theatre tour, Come Swing With Me.
A Strictly Come Dancing show insider said: “Peter was so excited that Emily came down to see him get ready for Saturday night’s show – it gave him a huge boost.
“He has been non-stop this week so it was lovely to see them together and see her support for him and Janette.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday October 17 on BBC One at 6.30pm.
