Is this the first confirmed contestant for Strictly Come Dancing 2018?
The excitement surrounding the new series is building
There’s not long to go now until Strictly Come Dancing is back on our screens, and it looks like we have the first confirmed contestant!
According to The Sun, Capital FM DJ Vick Hope has signed on the dotted line to battle it out for the Glitter Ball later this year.
You might recognise Vick from presenting Sky One’s Carnage and she also hosts Capital’s Breakfast Show.
Although the BBC has yet to confirm any signings, Good Morning Britain’s Ben Shephard let slip he’d been approached this year.
He said: ‘This is the first year I’ve been asked, the very first year I’d been asked. But I can’t do it as I do a football show on Sunday’s.’
Ben also joked about rumours that the infamous Strictly ‘curse’ is making it harder for producers to sign A-list names.
