Neil has been out of action for two weeks following an injury
Neil Jones has finally revealed when he will return to Strictly Come Dancing following a nasty injury that saw him temporarily side-lined from the competition.
The pro dancer will lace up his dancing shoes and partner up with Alex Scott tonight for what will no doubt be a sensational return to the show.
Neil announced the news on Strictly: It Takes Two on Friday evening, revealing he has been given the all-clear from the show’s physio.
Speaking to backstage reporter Gethin Jones, Neil said: "I am dancing! It's great to be back, Alex has been doing so well and thank you, Kevin, couldn't have done it without you."
Kevin Clifton has stepped in as Neil’s replacement for the last two weeks, and even helped Alex achieve her highest score of 34 points.
When news of Neil’s injury surfaced, it was revealed that Kevin only had 45 minutes to learn the routine, and despite getting a few steps wrong, viewers were seriously impressed with his skills.

Neil was forced to pull out of Strictly at the last minute when he felt a muscle in his calf “just go” during his final rehearsal for Halloween Week.
Previously speaking about how he obtained his injury on It Takes Two, Neil explained: "It was during [a] movement, normally the gun was coming out and I thought the gun has hit me on the back of my leg and I looked and it was just the muscle, it just went.
“I've ripped muscles before but it wasn't painful. It was just a weird feeling that's all it takes."
Speaking about Kevin stepping in, he added: "I love Kevin but I also would really like to continue dancing with Alex."
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday November 9 at 6.50pm on BBC One.
