Surprise! Love Island USA's Kordell gets a pep talk from brother Odell Beckham

Love Island USA season 6 continues to make the case as the best season of the Love Island USA franchise. If watching the chaotic one-liners from Leah and the emotional, yet touching, romantic journey between Serena and Kordell weren’t enough, the latest installment is about to up its game with the episode airing tonight, July 18, on Peacock. Kordell’s brother, famous NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., makes an appearance. 

That’s right, in a sneak peek clip for the episode, couples Aaron and Kaylor, Kendall and Nicole and Kordell and Serena hop on video calls with their respective families. While previous episodes made it seem as if Kordell was expecting to chat with his sisters, it’s actually Odell who pops up on the screen to chat with his brother. Even Kordell looks pleasantly surprised to see him in the clip. And of course, Serena is all smiles when Kordell hollers for her to come and meet his brother. Check out the cute clip below.

Just seeing the video has me quite excited to tune in when the episode becomes available. If I’m honest, I haven’t been this eager to watch an episode since I was on pins and needles after Casa Amor and I was left waiting to see if Kordell and Serena could work their way through their Daia hiccup and reunite.

I also found the segment of Kaylor talking to her parents and siblings about Aaron rather interesting. Her younger sister isn’t shy about announcing she does not like Aaron, and really, I can only imagine her parents may feel the same way. His antics in Casa Amor and his gaslighting after the fact didn’t portray him in the best light and had Love Island USA fans practically outraged on X (formerly Twitter). 

Speaking of people being in the hot seat with family members, Kordell looks like he is in one with Serena’s sister. As was shown, she didn’t appear pleased that he hurt her sister. However, given her expression, I’m hopeful she may actually see how much Kordell cares for her Serena now. That of course is yet to be seen.
