Netflix subscribers have embraced some foreign language series, most notably the French crime drama Lupin and the South Korean thriller Squid Game. But who comes out on top when it comes to Rotten Tomatoes scores? Believe it or not, Lupin, with a score of 98% "Fresh," beats Squid Game and its 95% "Fresh" score. What makes this even more impressive is that Lupin is averaging 98% across its three seasons (its lowest scored a 96%). While Squid Game currently only has its one season, the score could increase or decrease depending on how Squid Game season 2 is received.
Which Netflix original won the most Emmys in a single year: Beef season 1 or The Crown season 4?
Netflix has been racking up Emmy awards for years now, including for many of the shows talked about above. But two of the most winningest shows at a single Emmys were Beef season 1, where it competed as an limited/anthology series (Beef season 2 is in the works), and The Crown season 4, which introduced iconic British figures Margaret Thatcher (played by Gillian Anderson) and Princess Diana (portrayed by Emma Corin) to the historical drama. Ultimately The Crown season 4 reigns supreme here, winning 11 Emmys, including Outstanding Drama Series; Beef was no slouch with eight Emmy wins in its first year.
