Quantum physicist Sophie Kain became the fourth person to be told "You’re fired" when she faced Sir Alan Sugar in The Apprentice boardroom on Wednesday night. The 32-year-old sealed her fate when she told Sir Alan: "I don't feel comfortable selling something I don't believe is value for money". Before announcing their task, Sir Alan had shuffled the teams and announced that the group leaders would be Adam and Ghazal. The teams were set the challenge of manufacturing sweets to sell at one of the country's most popular tourist attractions, London Zoo. Faced with some tough customers, team leaders Adam and Ghazal had to decide whether to target health-conscious parents or sweet-toothed children to achieve sales success. Ghazal's team plumped for chocolate lollies and fudge, while Adam and his fellow contestants decided on a mix of chocolate lollies and hard candy lollypops. Adam's team ended up in hot water, however, when they labelled their lollies as being "Natural Orange", despite having 13 E numbers in the ingredients. As a result the team was forced to explain to every potential customer that the lollies were orange flavoured but contained artificial ingredients. The labelling problem proved decisive as in the end the sales difference between the two teams came down to just over ten pounds in favour of Ghazal's team. Defeated team leader Adam elected to take Sophie and Natalie back to the boardroom with him and Sophie came under immediate attack from Sir Alan for her lack of sales skills. Her admission that she couldn't sell something she didn't think was value for money, however, sealed her fate.
