After being warned about Hope (again) on The Bold and the Beautiful, Finn finds himself offering advice to her about Thomas. But is Hope crossing a line when she continues to take all of her problems to Finn?

It’s no secret that Hope (Annika Noelle) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) don’t get along, and this situation with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and Paris’ (Diamond White) engagement isn’t making the situation any easier for the family as the Forresters and Logans take sides. But once again Finn (Tanner Novlan) finds himself in the middle of Hope’s conflict and it puts him in a very awkward spot.

Finn has never been a fan of Thomas, and he was open about his concerns when Hope was with him. Hope has been leaning on Finn as a friend, especially after Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) and Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) wedding, and the more she discusses Steffy and her brother, the more she crosses a line and puts him in a very challenging situation.

With Steffy stepping into the role of Thomas and Paris’ biggest cheerleader, Finn has become Hope’s therapist. But their friendship comes with risks, because Steffy absolutely hates hearing Finn support Hope.

Not only has Steffy told Finn to stay away from Hope, but Li (Naomi Matsuda) also sees Hope as a bad influence on Finn, though Li’s concerns mainly stem from Hope’s connection to Sheila. And then there’s the not-so-small issue of Hope’s attraction to Finn. When he tells her that the guy she’s meant to be with will be right in front of her, well, he has no idea that she’s been fantasizing about him for a while.

The more Hope leans on Finn for support and advice, the bigger his predicament. At this point, Hope should know better than to turn to Finn for advice about things that could drive a wedge in his marriage…unless she’s subconsciously trying to tank his relationship with Steffy on purpose to free up Finn for herself.
