Since this remake of the 1976 satanic thriller is almost an exact replica, it seems rather pointless that they bothered to update it. However, it makes sense when you remember what year it came out. It would, after all, have been terribly foolish to miss out on the opportunity to cash in on that 06/06/06 release date.
