Is there anyone out there who hasn't seen this witty Oscar-winner directed by Ridley Scott and starring beauties Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon?
If that's you, then read no further as there's a little spoiler ahead.
This is the ultimate female buddy movie in my opinion, and I'm pretty sure most women would agree with me.
And that is why I am convinced that in-flight entertainment on a certain airline must be scheduled by a man.

There I was on a flight from New York to London in the early hours of the morning engrossed in this film, on the edge of my seat as that famously climactic final scene began to play out, and then just as Geena Davis uttered the words "just keep going," the screen went dark and a voice came over the PA system: “please fasten your seatbelts and prepare for landing."
No woman would programme this movie if they knew that such an unforgiveable crime could occur, surely?
