This Morning cleared over 'bondage for beginners' feature
ITV’s This Morning will not be punished for running a feature on “bondage for beginners' despite more than 100 complaints about the coverage which included reviews of a range of sex toys.
Communications watchdog Ofcom said it would not take action after it concluded the pre-watershed report, which attracted 120 complaints, did not 'break broadcasting rules'.
An Ofcom spokesman said: “The material was scheduled at a time when children were at school and clear warnings were also given in advance of the feature to protect any children who were not at school. The feature itself was also appropriately limited in terms of detail.”

The feature included three viewers reviewing and rating different products including a leash and collar and a bodywand and – in one scene – host Phillip Schofield trying on a nipple clamp.
Speaking before today’s announcement, Phillip told the Press Association that people complained to Ofcom over 'any minor outrage' and that 'behind those closed, outraged doors of middle England' the raunchy items they featured were snapped up online.

He added: “I think for me, and it’s my own personal belief, but in the old days people would pick up the phone and complain or they’d write a letter.
“But now they go to Ofcom and they must be sick to death of all of this. Any minor outrage that anyone’s got, they go to Ofcom. They must be inundated with minor complaints.”
