Eamonn Holmes and new bride Ruth Langsford laugh as they pose under a shower of rose petals - and reveal their relationship is as 'passionate' as that of Hollywood stars Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. The TV favourites tied the knot on Saturday and told how guests were amazed to be invited because they assumed the couple were already married. Pictures of the wedding will be seen for the first time in Hello! magazine. The pair began dating 13 years ago and have an eight-year-old son Jack, although they have waited until now to marry. Sky News Sunrise host Eamonn, 50, said: "Ruth was the missing jigsaw piece in my life. I was meant to be married." And Ruth, also 50, said: "Our relationship is very passionate. We're like Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. "Although we bicker and argue, ultimately our love for each other and the bond we share is so strong." Eamonn praised his new wife, who is also his co-host for ITV1's This Morning on Friday's and throughout this summer. He said: "She's a wonderful mummy to Jack, a fantastic partner both personally and professionally and now, I'm proud to say, she's my beautiful wife." The couple married at the Elvetham Hotel in Hampshire in front of guests including Royle Family star Sue Johnston, TV presenters Gloria Hunniford, Amanda Lamb and Jeremy Kyle, EastEnders actress Zoe Lucker and former champion boxer Barry McGuigan. Eamonn told how friends had been amazed by the wedding: "Many were pretty stunned to receive their wedding invitations because they assumed we were already married."
