After last week’s shocking revelations, we’re now pretty sure we know if it’s Andrew or Laura who has been lying about whether he raped her, and matters become much clearer tonight as events take an even darker turn. As Andrew launches a bid to recover his reputation, desperate Laura travels to Scotland to find out more about his past and the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death, but what will she discover when she gets there? Meanwhile, as dogged detective DCI Vanessa Harmon makes a decision about her future, trouble may soon come calling… Look out for Jill Halfpenny and Dawn Steele as two new characters who each shed some surprising light on proceedings. Rating: ****

As we begin to edge towards the finale of this compelling, complex thriller, DCI Gabriel Markham (the ever-brilliant Richard Dormer) is under pressure and puts himself in the firing line after making a risky move. And while Gabriel continues to struggle with the effect the gruesome case has had on his life, DI Elaine Shepard (Jodi Balfour) is having trouble dealing with her own dark past… Rating: ****

Josh Widdecombe’s sitcom returns for a third series with plenty of awkwardness in store for flatmates Josh, Kate and Owen. This first episode begins with Josh getting dumped in a most humiliating way but as he mopes about the flat, can his omnipresent landlord Geoff (Jack Dee) help him out of his funk? Also, Kate takes her mum Judith (Jennifer Saunders) to an ‘immersive’ play where the audience become part of the story, but when they get there they find it’s too realistic to be true… Rating: ***
